Legal

From cases involving the separation of church and state to protecting the individual's right to freely practice his or her religion and from participating in rulemaking for laws that directly impact the Hindu American community, such as the Religious Workers visa program, to defending the rights of Hindu parents to be treated fairly by a state body, HAF is a constant at both the state and federal levels.  HAF builds and maintains relationships with various secular and faith-based advocacy groups defending these same rights and consistently monitors for upcoming or ongoing legal issues that effect the Hindu American community.
